Self-Improving Agents Hackathon — New York
200 people, 100+ teams, and one very loud microphone. I got to MC and host the Self-Improving Agents Hackathon in New York, where the challenge was to prototype autonomous AI agents that can learn and improve on their own.
With 100+ teams rotating through judges, I also ended up vibe coding a little scheduling tool to keep everything moving. It was appropriately dubbed the “hackathon DMV.” I love doing this: getting to stand in a room full of people who are excited about what they’re building and helping keep that energy going all day is one of my favorite things.
